World Smokefree May 2025 – ‘That’s Us’ Quit Campaign Competition
Terms & Conditions
Eligibility:
Entry is open to residents of Aotearoa New Zealand.
Participant must be actively on a quit smoking journey.
Employees of Hāpai Te Hauora are not eligible to win any of the major prizes.
How to Enter:
To enter, participants must sign up to quit smoking using the official World Smokefree May referral form during the campaign period (April 1st – May 31st, 2025, 11:59 pm).
Only one entry per person is allowed.
Prizes:
There are eight (8) major prizes to be won.
The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Power Credit Prize:
Winners must provide us with the name of their power company and the references required.
Grocery shop prize:
Winner is to select one grocery store in their area they would like vouchers for.
Hāpai Te Hauora team will contact the selected store to purchase $800 worth of vouchers.
Winner Selection & Notification:
Winners will be randomly drawn weekly starting Friday 9th May 2025 using an online name generator from eligible entries.
Winners will be notified via the contact details provided on their referral form.
If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, a new winner may be drawn.
Winners of the major prizes will be contacted to share their Quit journey/story by Hāpai Te Hauora staff.
Privacy & Use of Information:
By entering, participants consent to their details being used for the purpose of
- Verifying eligibility
- Selecting winners
- Announcing winners on our Hāpai Te Hauora social media platforms (First name, and reason for quitting)
- Contacting them regarding the competition.
Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with New Zealand privacy laws.
Any personal information will only be used for the intended purposes of “That’s Us” campaign and will only be disclosed to a Stop Smoking Service at the request of the user.
All personal information will be deleted before or on the 31st of July 2025

General Terms:
By entering, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Hāpai Te Hauora reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time.
The decision of Hapai Te Hauora in all matters related to the competition is final.
